The Defender L663 Tailgate Organiser | Everyday Premium Setup is a complete, ready-to-fit storage solution designed to keep the everyday essentials you carry in your Defender organised and easy to reach.
Built around our British-made Tailgate Organiser Panel, this configuration comes pre-fitted with a carefully selected combination of First Tactical storage pouches. We've designed the layout for practical everyday storage while maintaining easy access to each pouch and the Defender's original storage compartments.
Your complete setup arrives assembled and ready to install. Simply fit our bespoke mounting brackets using the Defender's original factory mounting points, attach the organiser and you're ready to go.
No drilling. No cutting. No permanent modification. No figuring out which pouches fit or how best to arrange them.
The panel follows the contours of the Defender tailgate while maintaining access to the storage compartments and emergency triangle hatch. Our quick-remove mounting system also allows the complete organiser to be removed at any time, while the discreet mounting brackets remain fitted to the vehicle.
Premium Pouches
Manufactured by First Tactical, these pouches are tough, durable, premium quality pouches that look great on your car. The 9 x 6” fits a wide variety of tools, maps, and notepads. All pouches are made with sturdy, water resistant 500D nylon over a removable and reversible foam sleeve. The internal mesh pocket facilitates better organization, and 4 hooked platform attachments make sure your pouch is always secure.

Ideal for organising everyday essentials such as dog walking gear, cleaning products, first aid supplies, charging cables, shopping bags and other items that would otherwise end up loose around the vehicle.
All three pouches are supplied and pre-fitted to the organiser in the configuration shown.
Your setup arrives ready to install onto the supplied OTE mounting brackets.
Designed Around The Vehicle
This panel was developed specifically around the New Defender interior rather than adapting an existing design.
The overall size mirrors the tailgate trim shape closely for a clean OEM-style appearance while still leaving the factory storage compartments fully usable.
In fact, because the panel sits slightly proud on its mounting brackets, the lower storage pockets gain additional usable depth compared to standard.
The emergency warning triangle hatch remains fully functional and unobstructed.
Every detail was considered.
OEM Inspired Hardware
Small details matter.
The supplied stainless Torx hardware was intentionally chosen to visually match the factory trim hardware already used throughout the Defender interior.
We also include an additional set of black stainless Torx bolts for owners with black hardware packages and special editions such as the OCTA.
At the centre of the panel sits the signature Out There Equipped badge featuring our black and gold branding which pairs perfectly with the modern Defender interior and the technical grid styling found throughout the OCTA design language.

The custom bracket system means installation is dramatically simpler than traditional panels.
No balancing spacers behind trim panels.
No struggling to line up longer bolts.
No removing the entire tailgate trim.
Simply remove four factory Torx bolts, to fit the brackets, then attach the panel.
That’s it.
Fitting can be done in under two minutes!
Even better, the brackets remain fitted to the vehicle, allowing the panel itself to be removed in seconds with just four bolts.

Installation
Fitting can be completed in minutes using only a T30 Torx bit.
Installation Steps
- Remove 4 factory Torx bolts from the tailgate trim panel sides and 1 from the centre.
- Position the left and right brackets vertically and the centre bracket horizontally, all with the arrows facing upward.
- Reinstall the factory bolts to secure all 3 brackets snug against the trim.
- Attach the panel to the brackets using the supplied hardware
