The Out There Equipped Tailgate Organiser Panel transforms unused tailgate space into a clean, modular storage system without permanently modifying your Defender.
Designed specifically for the 2020 onwards Defender, it follows the contours of your door trim while maintaining access to the storage compartments and emergency triangle hatch. You even increase the storage compartment usable depth, which is great for jackets and other soft pouches that might otherwise fall out.
Our bespoke mounting system uses the Defender's original factory mounting points, with no drilling, cutting or permanent modification required. The panel mounts to dedicated brackets rather than the trim itself, allowing it to be removed at any time without needing to fiddle with spacers and awkward trim removal.
Like all Out There Equipped storage systems, the panel is fully compatible with our range of accessories and mounts.
Designed Around The Vehicle
This panel was developed specifically around the New Defender interior rather than adapting an existing design.
The overall size mirrors the tailgate trim shape closely for a clean OEM-style appearance while still leaving the factory storage compartments fully usable.
In fact, because the panel sits slightly proud on its mounting brackets, the lower storage pockets gain additional usable depth compared to standard.
The emergency warning triangle hatch remains fully functional and unobstructed.

OEM Inspired Hardware
Small details matter.
The supplied stainless Torx hardware was intentionally chosen to visually match the factory trim hardware already used throughout the Defender interior.
We also include an additional set of black stainless Torx bolts for owners with black hardware packages and special editions such as the OCTA.
At the centre of the panel sits the signature Out There Equipped badge featuring our black and gold branding which pairs perfectly with the modern Defender interior and the technical grid styling found throughout the OCTA design language.

Installation
Fitting can be completed in minutes using only a T30 Torx bit.
Installation Steps
- Remove the four factory Torx bolts from the tailgate trim panel
- Position the left and right brackets with the arrows facing upward
- Reinstall and tighten the factory bolts
- Attach the panel to the brackets using the supplied hardware
